Now that the attention to Stephenie Meyer's "Breaking Dawn" has waned, other books for teen readers are coming into view. One promising novel is "The Good Thief" by Hannah Tinti (The Dial Press, $25), a picaresque tale of a one-handed boy in search of his identity in 19th-century New England.
