"Warhol-o-Rama" (Carnegie Mellon University Press, $16.95) is a new collection of poetry by Peter Oresick, Ford City native, editor, poet and former publishing executive.
Oresick reads from his work at the Pump House in Homestead at 1:30 p.m. The building was part of the Homestead steel works and is located near the Rankin Bridge end of the Waterfront shopping complex.
Now teaching at several Pittsburgh universities, Oresick focuses on both Warhol's ethnic lineage and his enduring celebrity status long after his death.

The New Yinzers are back with poetry, fiction and music in an 8 p.m. program at Modern Formations Gallery, 4919 Penn Ave., Garfield. On the bill: Poet CM Burroughs, fiction writer Jen Michalski and musicians Nikki Allen and Emily Rodgers. It's $4 at the door.

Representing the University of Pittsburgh Press Poetry Series are series editor Ed Ochester and poet Jan Beatty, three-time Pitt Press author, at the Pot Luck Readers Series, Most Wanted Fine Art Gallery, 5015 Penn Ave., Garfield, at 8 p.m. Co-sponsor is Autumn House Press. Cost is $5 at the door or bring a covered dish to share.
Peter Oresick continues to read from "Warhol-O-Rama" joined by poet Heather McNaugher in a free reading program at Chatham University's Mellon Hall at 7:30 p.m.
McNaugher is assistant professor of English at Chatham, and Oresick is associate director of the Low-Residency MFA in Creative Writing Program at Chatham.
